Lasso Names John L.A. Wilson Chief Operating Officer
Los Angeles, Calif. (July 29, 2022) - Lasso, a groundbreaking movement company, today announced that John L.A. Wilson has been named Chief Operating Officer (COO), effective immediately. As COO Wilson will be responsible for improving operating effectiveness across Lasso’s key functional areas, while helping to drive the brand's growth and profitability through its omni-channel business model. He will report directly to Founder and CEO Partha Unnava.
Throughout his career Wilson has worked with brands at every stage of growth, from start-ups to blue-chip consumer product companies. His experience includes roles with Colgate-Palmolive (Etonic), Reebok International, Converse Inc., Hanes Brands (Duofold), and Wacoal Corp., amongst others, with evolving roles across product/brand management, marketing/sales management, and general management. He is well-versed in both the U.S. and international markets, having conducted business in 27 different countries. His core experience lies in the apparel, footwear, and accessories markets, making him a natural fit for Lasso.
Lasso continues to position itself on its rapid trajectory to be the go-to sock for people around the world. It’s not just consumers and the market that are taking notice – Men’s Health rated Lasso their #1 overall sock in 2021. Wilson will help to assist the company in its overall international expansion, as well as helping to build sales channels domestically.
